I think you made a great choice by continuing to serve UCR. Budget cuts, furloughs, and other administrative changes unfortunately suck for everyone but the students are well served. At least you can enjoy the OC fair this summer!
I understand if you're not in a position to really answer this question but, as a potential applicant, is it safe to assume you'll be at Riverside for at least a few more years?
