Just an aside on the subject of AI. Been reading comments on another blog posted from this platform. A chap, (in England?) has told readers quite a lot and claims to know, or have met, some interesting and influential people. I understand some of what he writes because he can relate information in a way comprehensible to a computer illiterate. I plan to read your op-ed because I am interested in ethical/philosophical matters. Thank you.
On the op-ed: well done. Damned if we do; damned if we don't.
